Robert Dale FreestoneSeptember 16, 1955 ~ August 8, 2017 (age 61)
"Hey, see that? Yeah my finger... pull it"
Rob, being a bit envious of his parents recent vacation, decided he would join them. When the dancing starts he will be on the sidelines flirting, telling jokes and enjoying a few cocktails.
When Robert Dale was born he had already dubbed himself "Mostest Handsomest son of the boys". He would undoubtedly also tell you he was the favorite. We are sure he has a plaque hanging somewhere proclaiming this to be a hard fact. Rob was a poker shark without the teeth. He was quick to show a huge smile, a greeting and a joke to follow. Rob was born in Ogden and raised in Bountiful; As much as you can raise a wild beast of a boy, full of mischief. He and his brothers gave the folks of Bountiful a run for their sanity. His late parents, Robert and Elaine, had plenty of meetings with neighbors. Often, the neighbors would have little Rob in tow, covered in mud and bloody scratches with tales of his devilishness. Not many who knew Rob forgot him. He truly had a way about him that attracted others. Rob knew his way around guns, all things fishing and a cement trowel.
Rob leaves behind three step-daughters who called him Dad. Nephews and nieces who called him Uncle Henry. A lovely wife, Yvonne Freestone. We all tried and failed you stubborn old Ox. We love you Henry. Your foolhardy, stubborn ways and all.
If you see him in heaven and he owes you a drink; He will gladly seat you next to him, shake your hand and let you buy him another.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 12, 2017 at the Bountiful City Cemetery, 2224 South 200 West.
